The Jim Jones Shooting Range is a members only range, managed by the Tonto Rim Sports Club.
The Main Range (100-yard range) is open to the public (non-members) on Saturdays from 9:00am-2:00pm.
Cost for non-members is $10 per person, Range Safety Officers will be on duty.
* On occasion the Range may be closed due to weather conditions, fire restrictions or lack of volunteer Range Safety Officers.

The Tonto Rim Sports Club, Inc. was established in 1979 and is affiliated with the National Rifle Association, and the Arizona State Rifle and Pistol Association.
The purpose of the Club is to educate and encourage organized shooting among United States citizens with a focus on better knowledge of the safe handling and proper care of firearms, as well as improved marksmanship. It is a further purpose of the Club to foster the development of those characteristics of honesty, good fellowship, self-discipline, team play, and self-reliance. These are the essentials of good sportsmanship and the foundation of patriotism.
GETTING TO US
Jim Jones Shooting Range is located approximately 5 miles south of Payson, Arizona, on Highway 87 (also known as Beeline Highway). Turn left at Jim Jones Shooting Range Rd (Nf-375B) and proceed 1.6 miles to the Range.
​From Mesa/Phoenix Valley
From Mesa take Highway 87 for about 70 miles.
Turn right onto Jim Jones Shooting Range Road (Nf-375B).
Drive 1.6 miles to the Range.
